Donnajeanne Goheen returns to El Paso May 2 & 3, 2009

YOUNG ACTOR WORKSHOPS

at KIDS n CO PERFORMANCE CENTER

Hollywood Talent Manager, Donnajeanne Goheen will spend two days in El Paso, scouting for new clients and sharing a wealth of information about how the industry REALLY works in Los Angeles. Having been written about in numerous publicatio ns and the subject of two E! Network specials, Goheen has started the careers of some of the most successful young actors in TV and film today including Nathan Kress  as Freddie in “iCarly”,  Joy Lauren in “Desperate Housewives”, Hunter Parrish in “Weeds”, Disney stars David Henrie, Amy Bruckner, Alyson Michalka, Taylor McKinney,  as well as Josh Duhon who plays Logan in “General Hospital”,  and Camille Mana who was Lisa in “One on One” and had supporting  roles in the feature films, “Smart People” and  “College”.  One of  Goheen’s youngest clients is Destiny Grace who will be seen as Ashley Judd’s daughter in the film, “Tooth Fairy”, also starring Julie Andrews and “The Rock”. Many of her clients can be seen every day in commercials and TV shows. As a result of the November workshop in El Paso, two Kids n Co members, Kiev and Will headed out to Hollywood in January, got a top agent , have been actively auditioning and  have filmed several projects.  Watch for Will on Discovery Health Channel in June.  Goheen has nearly 20 years in this challenging industry as a parent, casting director, producer and manager so she knows all the ins and outs, twists and turns and secrets to navigating your way through the jungle! EACH workshop session she conducts is specially tailored for its participants!

SATURDAY MAY 2 

ACT ONE     9:00 - 12:00   ON-CAMERA AUDITION DYNAMICS      FEE:  $85

This session is designed for ages  9 and older who have not worked previously with Donnajeanne. Session emphasis is basic on-camera audition skills ~ threshold skills, slating, interviewing, commercial copy delivery.        

ACT TWO    12:30- 3:30   CROW -- The actor's tool for TV & film auditions      FEE: $85

ages 9 and older who  have completed ACT ONE this time or last November

This session will focus on CROW--the actor's tool for breaking down TV and film scripts and preparing for TV and film auditions

ACT THREE 3:30- 6:30  ADVANCED ON-CAMERA~Partners/Props/Products  FEE: $85

ages 9 and older who have completed ACT ONE AND ACT TWO This session will include more

challenging commercial material as well as co-host/stand-up skills

 
SUNDAY, MAY 3

ACT FOUR    12:00- 4:00 p.m.   Truth in Acting - TV/FILM AUDITION SKILLS      Fee $95.00

Participants will receive materials in advance and have an opportunity to prepare as if for a real audition, utilizing the CROW tool, creating a back story and developing a believable character. Following the mock audition, participants will perform the scene with a scene partner
