Students in
these four-week
intensive sessions
learn and
develop the techniques of stage movement, voice,
character development
and group dynamics. Because we believe all students should participate
in all phases of theater, they also attend basic costuming and makeup
and/or set construction and stage lighting classes.
As a fully staged production is the goal, students are encouraged to
find creative approaches to theatrical problems. Emphasis is placed on
teamwork, responsibility and self-esteem. No experience is necessary to
participate; auditions are held for roles in the play, and students can
choose to only do tech. Students who will miss more than 3 classes or
who will not be available for production dates should not register.
Speaking
the Speech
Ages: 15 - 25
Outrageous Fortune Theatre Company offers an
intensive
workshop for
advanced acting students ages 15 – 25. "
Speaking the Speech: How
to
do it, understand it and love it!”
will focus on scenes and styles from
Shakespearean theatre.
Check back for the next scheduled session.
