Mindy
Leanse and Tristan Moore star in David
Birney’s stage adaptation of the two journals “discovered and
translated” by
Mark Twain. Written
near the end of his
life and career, the diaries are perhaps his wisest, most personal
works. The
wry humor we expect is matched by a heartbreaking tenderness found
nowhere else
in his writings. And it was only in Eve that Twain ever wrote from a
woman's
viewpoint.
A
KIDS-N-CO. production, directed by Kevin P. Mullin, the play opens
August 11
and runs through August 26, 2007. Performances
