THE STORY
TELLERS TROUPE
 The KIDS-N-CO. Story
Troupe is
one of the outreach components of the El Paso KIDS-N-CO. This
group of talented young actors tells stories to encourage literacy,
plant the seeds of imagination, and introduce children to the wonder of
books. A cross section of literature is used which includes but is
not limited to cultural awareness, humor and drama.
The KIDS-N-CO Story Troupe has read stories at Barnes & Noble, the
Bookery, the Mickelson Library at Fort Bliss, during El Dia de los
Ninos at Washington Park, and they were featured in a segment of
the EPISD cable television show "Come Read With Me," where they read
their stories for an audience citywide. Members from the Story Troupe
also performed in "Song of the Unicorn" with the El Paso Music Forum
(Early Music Consort), at the Chamizal National Memorial.
KCOS AUCTIONS AND
PLEDGE DRIVES
Whenever KCOS needs volunteers,
KIDS-N-CO. is there! Our board members, parents and students take
your calls, bid for you and have a great time doing it!
  
DONNAJEANNE GOHEEN
is
a Hollywood talent manager who has been the subject of two E! Network
specials. She has started the careers of some of the most
successful
young actors in TV and film today including David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place),
Alyson
and
AJ
Michalka and Amy Bruckner (Phil of the Future),
Hunter Parrish (Weeds), Joy Lauren (Desperate Housewives),
Josh
Duhon
(General Hospital), Nathan Kress (iCarly)
and Camille Mana (One on One). One of her youngest clients is
Destiny Grace who plays Ahley Judd’s daughter in the film Tooth
Fairy also starring Julie Andrews and “The Rock.” Many of
her clients can be seen every day in commercials and TV shows,
including our own Kiev Johnson and Molly Jackson.

Ms. Goheen
has nearly 20 years in this challenging industry as a parent, casting
director, producer and manager and twice a year she spends a weekend
with us at KIDS-N-CO. training our students to be camera ready and
explaining for our parents all the ins and outs,
twists and turns and secrets of navigating through the jungle!
  
ADRIANNA
GARZA-CORTAZAR
Former El Pasoan and award winning playwright, Adriana
Garza-Cortazar, came to KIDS-N-CO. to talk to young actors about her
experiences in Hollywood and in the theater.
 
SCOUTS OF AMERICA
We enjoy bringing unique crafts like puppetmaking and
costume designing to the table when the Scouts host special occassions!
